Clary passes with flying colors, but Izzy almost dies when her turn comes around. Izzy’s Yin Fen overdoseīefore they can enter, the both must take a purity test to ensure that there is no demon blood inside of them. Because of this weapon, none of the Downworlders are safe. Clary is brought inside where she learns about the soul sword: a sword that will release its light and kill anything with demon blood in its path. They’re hesitant to grant access to the daughter of Valentine, but Clary assures them that no one wants Valentine gone more than she does. Isabelle and Clary finally head off to go and see the Iron Sisters. Well I can’t wait to see how that this plays out. After realizing he’s no longer welcome, a disgruntled Jace packs his bags and shows up at Magnus’ house asking for a spare room. Jace may be a free man, but the Clave still isn’t too happy to have a Shadowhunter with demon blood running freely around the Institute. There was Malec, there was Clizzy, and for fans of the books Simon and Maia look like they may be setting sail sometimes soon.
